In the heart of our mission fields, a story of heartbreaking dedication and sacrifice unfolds. Our missionaries, driven by a passion to spread the Gospel, leave behind the comforts of life to disciple nations. They work tirelessly, often in harsh conditions, to bring hope and transformation to those around them.
These hardworking individuals are not merely spiritual leaders; they are also breadwinners who toil to provide for their families. With limited financial support, many take on additional work, such as farming or other tent-making initiatives, to make ends meet. Their days are filled with the dual tasks of spreading the Word and working to sustain their families.
Tragically, their struggles are compounded by the harsh realities of persecution. An incident occurred last night where one of our missionary’s crops were destroyed by bandits. This is a heartbreaking reminder of the challenges we face daily. This is not an isolated case; many believers in our region suffer similarly, their livelihoods and efforts brutally undone.
Despite these trials, they remain resolute. We will continue to plant seeds of hope, even when the ground seems unyielding. Their perseverance is a testament to their faith and commitment to sharing the love of Christ.
As we reflect on our plight, we will yet thread with resilience and compassion. We must stand with our missionaries, to support them in prayer. Together, we can be the hands and feet of Christ in a world torn apart by pain, fear and violence.
Let us pray for our missionaries and all those who face persecution:
》For strength and courage in the face of adversity
》For provision and protection for their families
》For the spread of the Gospel, even in the most challenging circumstances
May we dare more, love more, and risk more for the sake of the Gospel. May our actions reflect the compassion and love of Christ, bringing hope to a world in dire need of a savior.
Together, we can make a difference.
Let’s stand with our missionaries and support them in their mission to bring light to the nations.
